Some facts about the index:
Years 1864 to 1877
Volumes 01 to 05 are births recorded in the 1st quarter. Volumes 06 to 10 are births recorded in the 2nd quarter. Volumes 11 to 15 are births recorded in the 3rd quarter. Volumes 16 to 20 are births recorded in the 4th quarter. Please note that the recorded date may not even be the correct year, never mind the correct quarter. I once saw three recorded births on one day for a family that covered several years.
The microfilm for 1867 was unavailable when I did this.
